Basement Write-Up

There was a point last week where I actually felt like making movies was my career. I had taken off work for a week and a half, so I could get the movie done in time. Every morning I immediately started working on the film until at least 3-4am. Last night I finished my last scene for the first edit at 2am. I came to school and edited the second half of the movie till 6am. This project was definately the most difficult, yet most rewarding project I've done for school since I've been here. I have completely flipped in terms of skill with lighting, panning, editing and acting. It was difficult at first to act in this movie and still be able to get the imagery across that I wanted. Once I got my friend Josh to understand the filming process a little better, he turned out to be the greatest co-director I could of used. I had 64 scenes, 12 characters and two weeks for production. Not as much time as I would of liked, but I guess all for all I work well under pressure. Now watch my movie damnit!
