Pre Shot-write up
I had a difficult time getting the cast toghether over the weekend, so I just decide to work with Lee on his script and see if we couldn't knock out a few seens. Although it's close, Lee's outfit will be slightly different in the movie. The location in the movie is also different; Instead of an alley way, it will be the side of the street. While filming, I realized that Lee is a very well rounded character and had recently committed his lines to memory. Doing the test shots made me think a lot about the lighting, color scheme and over all feel of the movie I want to have. Every character has to be extremely well lit, even if their scene is supposed to feel dark. I aloso realised that I need to pay attention to the focusing on the camera, while filming. The pre shoot scenes also helped me visualize the wardrobe each character should have. Overall, this has greatly helped my level of organization for this project.
