Idea 1(Improve Comedy)
This is a comedy that is based purely on putting different characters in different situations and environments with a simple plot, but no dialogue. That's right folks, no script, no script at all, pure improve. The freinds I have all over Memphis have some of the strangest, funniest, most ridiculous personalities and sence of humors I have ever witnessed, so I have decided that I could make a movie of their reactions around certain people, events and environments, instead of trying to get them to act out a particular part. I feel like each character can take whatever they realize makes them funny as a person in general and exaggerate it with improvization. I'm sure it would be a hell of a lot funnier than any script that could be written.

dude i think you should go for this! i'm a big fan of improvised dialog and situations. it's always fun to see what happens when you just take a camera out and start shooting, and then it's a brand new adventure in the editing room; you don't know how it'll turn out, but you have the power to mold something that is exciting and unexpected.
you should check out this piece i did in motion graphics back when brian hewitt taught at mca

that's all improvised shit. i called a couple of my friends and asked them to help me make a video and we just went out and did it. it was fun as hell and i never get tired of watching that thing.
Could make for an interesting video. I would be really funny to set up a scenario in which these different characters would be forced to interact with on another, possibly in a public venue. You could not only get the reaction of the other "actors" but also of the other people in the immediate area. It might be interesting to have the "actors" interact in the manor of one being told to say "x" to the man in the brown hat. And the man in the brown hat would have instructions to jump up and run around screaming if anyone speaks to him. etc, etc...the basis would be to have a reactionary situation.
And from what i heard about your car scene.... I think it would be halarious
i like thiis improv the most out of all the others improv suggestions. but i think you have a script in mind at least visually and the situations you want to put the actors in. i think if you finalize. realize, think more about the juxtposition of the variables the piece could be tight and have less of an improv feel that can, possibly , be a little sloppy.
i would go with this improvised thing. what would be a topic?
Zac,
I am just going to address general thoughts here.
I think you have the energy and skill set to do what you want.
The basement idea is for me far and away the best.
I wish I had though of it.
There are so many posibilities in the commenality we all share in that soul lost for what ever reason that we allow to attach themselves to us and then don't quite know what to do with.
Of course there is always the location - it must be filmed.

I think it would be good to think around the obvious first thoughts of falling such as down stairs.
You could consider Falling in Love, Falling Asleep, Taking the Fall.
Also maybe a sort of Alice in Wonderland Falling Down The Rabbit Hole where someone would fall through a hole and wind up somewhere completly different and unusual.
I'd like to hear your thoughts and also if there is a time we could meet.
Jonathan
Good post.
