Movie Description

The movie I have chosen is a horror movie, entitled Adam's Basement, which takes place in the streets of midtown, my backhouse and the basement and abandoned apartment underneath my house. The story consists of Adam ( nice, easy going Midtown kid that pretty much keeps to himself), Homeless Guy (insane, psycopathic killer who's wife died a nasty death. He has taken upon himself to hunt the streets for people to kill), Adam's friends: two girls and three guys: Ashley, (This is the girl that Adam is dating. She is a blonde snob who is always pissed unless she gets everything she wants folded up with a nice little bow. She dies one of the most horrible deaths yet.) Karla, (This is the annoying, stupid brunette that always thinks she is right about everything. She is Ashley's friend and gets picked off fairly early in the movie.) Shade, ( This is the short funny kid that is friends with Adam.), Josh (Another best friend of Adam's), John (this is the someone smart friend of Adam's that almost gets away. His curiosity gets him in the end). The soundtrack is going to be completely original. I have already started producing it and it is extremely creepy with a bit of divine greatness. A soundtrack that will include violen's, chello's, piano, bass, guitar, drums, organ and other various synthesized sounds. The music will improve the overall suspense and terror of the movie. This is the twisted tale of a growing friendship and the lives that were lost along the way. On the night of October 31st ,young Adam is approached by a man lurking in the shadows. The man doesn’t ask Adam for anything. Instead he tells him that he aught to be careful on the street tonight, that three years ago on the same very street and the same very night his wife was killed. Adam doesn’t pay much attention to him and quickly gets in his car. The next day Adam is approached by the man again while his working on the patio at Neil’s. Everyday, the man comes back to Adam’s work telling stories of his past and hopes of the future. Tapping into the better side of himself, Adam decides to ask the man if he wants to come back to his house and hang out. Sometimes we make bad decisions in our life, this decision being the worst Adam had ever made. For days it seemed like the man just happened to be everywhere Adam went. He saw him at work, school, the gas station, the grocery store, everywhere he went it seemed like the man was right behind him. What’s up Adam, can I come and hang out with you tonight? Adam felt bad because he was always busy and couldn’t seem to find the time or the desire to hang out with him. One night Adam and a couple of his friends were drinking at his house when a news report comes on the tv about two missing girls in the Mid-town area. They paid absolutely no attention to the report. The next day Adam doesn’t see the man at all. Adam left work wondering if the man would be outside, waiting for him in the parking lot, except this time he wasn’t, he was nowhere to be seen. Where was he? Had he left Adam alone? Later that night Adam got an extremely disturbing phone call from a good friend of his, Shade. No one had seen their friend John in two days. Adam told Shade not to worry, that he probably went off on one of his drunk tangents and he would pop up in a day or so. That night Adam was sleeping, when he was suddenly awoken by a loud scream. A second later the scream stopped. Adam decided it was probably nothing and went back to sleep. The next day Shade was supposed to meet Adam at the park for their weekly soccer game, only this time he didn’t show. One by one all of Adam’s friends started disappearing. One by one the old man was picking off all of Adam’s friends. Right beneath the floors of where Adam slept at night his friends were being strangled, tortured and cut into little pieces. Since Adam wouldn’t let the old man sleep in his house, he decided to sleep under it. One night the old man was strangling Adam’s friend shelly, when he heard someone walking up Adam’s steps. He quickly bashes her head into the concrete floor to keep her from yelling. He quietly stood next to the gate, and watched Adam’s friend, Josh walk up the steps. What ya’ doing Josh, is Adam inside? Can I come hang out with you guys? How did the man know where Adam lived, had he told him? Josh knocks on the door and tells the man to hold on one second and let him see if Adam is up to having more company. As the door opens, Josh turns around and the man is gone. He tells Adam what happened and they decide it’s probably best if they stay inside for the night. When the man finishes doing what he wants to the bodies, he cuts them into little pieces and piles them in the corner. When the man passes out at night, a tall dark figure comes and takes the body parts, stuffs them in a black trash bag and throws them in the trunk of car parked next door. Later that night Adam wakes up to go to the bathroom and trips over Josh’s body, lying dead in a pool of blood. Adam panic’s, runs to the door and as soon as he opens it the man stabs him in the stomach. The man grabs Adam by his hair and drags him into the basement. Slowly, he chops off every limb until Adam is dead. Suddenly, the tall, dark figure walks into the basement and stabs the old man in the back of his head. He cuts his body apart, throws it in a black trash bag and throws it in the trunk of the car next door. The next morning, a homeless man is wakened by the tall, bag stuffing figure. How’s it going buddy, wanna get something to eat?
